I’m a California attorney and mediator working with founders and small businesses. Most problems don’t come from bad intent. They come from assumptions that were never clearly discussed. I help you structure better deals and resolve disputes when things break down.

Common Questions

  • AI and templates are only as good as what you put into them.

    The issue isn’t the document.

It’s that most people don’t know what to think through or agree on upfront.

Scope, expectations, decision-making, what happens if things change. That’s where disputes actually come from.

A contract isn’t just a compliance document. It’s a record of what both sides think the deal is.

If that understanding isn’t clear, the document won’t fix it.

That’s what I help you get right.

  • Not every dispute needs to go through the court system.

In many cases, it makes more sense to resolve things directly through negotiation or with a neutral third party, such as mediation.

I often step in as a neutral mediator to help both sides clarify positions, structure the conversation, and work toward a resolution.

This is especially useful in modern business relationships where the parties may be in different states or countries and there’s no easy or practical path through the courts.

The goal is to resolve things efficiently and move forward, without the time and cost of litigation.

  • It depends on what you’re looking for.

Legal work covers things like tailored contract drafting, legal advice, and formal representation, and is typically limited to California.

Consulting is more strategic. That includes structuring deals, thinking through agreements between clients or business partners, and helping navigate conversations or disputes. Mediation also falls into this category.

Consulting can be done regardless of location, especially for online or cross-border situations.

Many situations involve both. If you’re not sure where something falls, we can figure that out together.

  • If you’re looking to build your own skills, I share a lot of this inside my community.

If you need more direct help, that can turn into 1:1 consulting, legal work, or both.
